Team Training Course Offerings

The following courses are part of our team training series. These courses focus on integrating the talents of several individual contributors into a cohesive team. Each of the following courses was developed for an academic environment via our community partnership program, but can be tailored for delivery in an industrial education environment.

Project Management: The essential processes from the Project Management Institute model necessary for software development. This includes an introduction to project management and process oriented development, and an emphasis on time, quality, and risk management. Includes lab exercises developing project schedules and resource allocations.
Systems Development: A life cycle product development course. Includes requirements, design, integration, and test. For industrial environments, the use of lab exercises based on actual work output, such as developing a library or user interface that will become part of a shipping product, is strongly encouraged.
